There are three layers in the Mention Me platform that determine what your customers see:
- Campaign - This top layer targets customers who meet your specified criteria. The most simple setup is to show one referral campaign to all customers, but you can test serving different offers to different customers.
- Experiments - Running experiments helps you learn what resonates with customers. You can test almost any element of your referral programme to determine what’s most likely to be shared by your customers.
- Offers - This covers everything that a customer sees, such as the creative, copy and referral reward. Each offer is independent; changing one will not change the others.
When your running offer has reached significance or you just want to move to a new offer early you can choose from one of the pre-determined experiments found under Roadmap (The ? button will give you a description of each experiment):
- These experiments are currently set out in the order that we would recommend you run them in, but once you have decided which experiment you would like to run next: Click on the 3 dots.
- You then have a couple options to choose from as to what template you would like to use for your new experiment.
- You can start the new experiment based off one of the existing offers (usually you would pick the winner) which would copy over the Offer Settings, Copy, Imagery and Reward information. Or,
- You can use Create default, which would create a blank canvas and you can customise Offer Settings, Copy, Imagery and Rewards from scratch.
- You now have a Draft that can amend before it goes live:
- Click on the experiment name or again on the 3 dots to amend the offer:
Editing your offer:
- Copy - How to edit your copy
- Design - How to edit your design
- Rewards - How to edit your rewards
Once you have set up your new reward please contact us directly to upload your vouchers. You can do that via our contact form.
You now have two offers and your experiment is ready to be pushed live.
Traffic Allocation:
When pushing a test live, this box is automatically ticked:
If you don't want this to happen, you need to untick it or specify this in the request for us to push something live, as if you want to run it with a 50/50 split, you need to duplicate and push live again.
Congratulations, your first experiment is ready to run!
Note: Your Onboarding Manager will be on hand to assist setting these during the onboarding process, the above is a guide once you are fully onboarded.
