In many situations, Mention Me will fulfil rewards to referrers and referees on your behalf. However, you can also fulfil these rewards yourself.
You may want to do this if, for example, you:
- Wish to send the referee an extra item as part of their first order
- Want to/can only apply credit to a referrer’s account yourself
- You already have an established fulfilment function.
You can configure the Mention Me platform to periodically send you a list of customers due to receive a reward and what reward they are entitled to.
To enable this feature, set up a new reward of type “Feed of rewards due sent to client for processing”. Here's how:
1-Go to your Campaigns > click on the campaign to be changed > select Edit Details in the top right corner drop down
Let your Mention Me Client Success Manager know how frequently you’d like to receive the report. The platform will deliver this data using the standard mechanisms.
By default, Mention Me will send emails for these rewards on your behalf to tell the referrer and referee that their reward is being processed separately and they’ll receive separate communications on their progress. If preferred, you can suppress these emails. To manage all comms, go to Offer Details > Email and deselect the relevant options:
NB: If you choose to test or change the reward being offered, your fulfilment process will need to account for the variation. Files detailing fulfilment contain information on which customer is due which reward.
