About the Attentive integration

Our integration lets you:
- Grow your contact database by sending real-time email marketing opt-ins to Attentive
- Enhance your referral data for personalised SMS campaigns and coupon reminders
- Improve your segmentation with first-party advocacy data
The different data sets sent to Attentive
With the Mention Me integration, there are 3 sets are data that will be available to see in Attentive:
- Email opt-ins
- Subscriber profile attributes
- Custom Events
Email opt-in statuses
Mention Me does not capture mobile numbers as part of the customer registration process and will only send email opt-ins to Attentive for referees who opt-in during the registration process.
However, Attentive will automatically merge customer profiles they can match with an email address to a phone number
When Email addresses are sent to Attentive they will appear in a profile with the Status tag: Collected and as a source of Mention Me
Subscriber profile attributes
When Mention Me sends contact information to Attentive, we also send specific attributes against subscribers as per the list below.
These properties can be used for creating segments in Attentive to target specific groups of customers.

Custom events
Custom events can be used to trigger Journeys and create segments to target specific groups of customers based on their activities.
When creating journeys (either from scratch or via the Mention Me pre-built journeys) you can use the data within the event to make SMSs more personalised
The custom events associated with a subscriber will also show under the activities of a subscriber
Note: Each custom event is available after at least one customer triggers the event. If a specific event has not shown up in your Attentive account yet that means none of those events has occurred yet.
