Why is there no order data for a specific campaign?
Question:
When viewing Orders metrics on the Performance dashboard (click on "Choose your metrics", check Orders and "Save metrics") we can see the details for all campaigns, but not for a specific campaign. Why is there no order data on each campaign level?
Answer:
To understand why, you need to understand how campaigns get promoted.
First, an order happens (with currencies or locales giving away their market).
Then, our tag fires and we make a decision on what segment to put the customer in (using the triggering rules).
This determines which campaign to serve.
Hence if the funnel is: Order -> Offer impression -> Enrolled -> Shared
We only have the concept of a Campaign at the Offer Impression level, not the Order. The order happens before the campaign is selected. So by definition, you can't see Orders by Campaign.
Reporting Currency
Question:
We have active campaigns in different currencies in our account, but our reporting only shows in one currency. Why?
Answer:
The system can only report in one currency. The reporting currency is set up on account level and the system will pick up the currency from there and apply it to the reporting.
With this said, the platform does not allow for the currency to change in the reporting sections dynamically based on campaign selection.
