When sending emails via Ometria, you will want to promote your referral program from them.
You can do this by directing customers to your landing page, but if this link is not personalised the customer will need to provide their name and email address.
As Ometria already has this information, you can use a special Ometria / Mention Me link to give your customers a personalised experience.
To set this up you will need to:
- Include the relevant link in your Ometria email template
- Ensure that your Mention Me Campaign Triggering Rules will show the right offer.
The Link
The link you will need to include in your Ometria email is:

This will be automatically updated by Ometria for each customer.
The Campaign Rules
A customer clicking on this link will be sent to a Mention Me landing page with their name and email automatically populated.
The link will include values from Ometria for the:
- Ometria Country Code
- Ometria Store ID
- Ometria Lifecycle
- Ometria Segments
These values can be used within the Triggering Rules section of the Mention Me platform to automatically show the right Campaign.
For instance, in this example below, this Campaign is shown to customers visiting when either the locale parameter is en_GB or when the Ometria Country Code is GB.
The combination of these two rules means that in operation outside of Ometria the Campaign will be shown to customers on e.g. landing page or post purchase pages with an en_GB locale. And when the customer comes from Ometria, as long as the country code is GB they will be shown this campaign.
