Learn how to set up and customise all influencer-related emails in the Mention Me platform. This guide explains each built-in email and shows you how to adapt the content, styling, and images to fit your brand voice.
Accessing the Email Setup
Login to the Mention Me Platform, select Manage for the program you want to change, and navigate to the Emails section. Here, you will see the different emails you can configure:
Available Influencer Emails
The Mention Me Influencer platform offers several preconfigured emails, triggered automatically when an influencer completes certain actions. You can edit the copy and images for each email.
- Invitation Email: Invite influencers to join your programme. Customise the text and images to suit your tone of voice.
- Application Received: Sent when an influencer applies. They are notified that their application has been received and will be reviewed.
- Application Approved: Sent when an influencer’s application is approved. Includes a link to their dashboard, where they can view their unique code.
- Application Rejected: Notifies unsuccessful applicants that they have not been accepted, with an opportunity to encourage them to try again in the future.
- Login Link Email: Allows influencers to request a login link, providing access to their dashboard without needing a password.
Editing and Customising Emails
All emails can be fully edited. You can change the subject line, preview text, and the main body copy. Each email also comes with a preconfigured example to make customisation easier.
- Styles: The styles of the emails, like text and button colours for all emails, are set under the Edit Styles button
- Subject Line: Set an attention-grabbing subject that matches your brand’s style.
- Preview Text: Adjust the snippet shown in the recipient’s inbox.
- Email Body: Use the editor to customise the message content. Built-in variables let you add personalised information, such as the influencer’s email address, your merchant name, or the programme name.
- Images: Upload a header image to display at the top of the email if desired.
- Buttons: Edit button colours and text for calls to action, such as registration or login links.
Customisation Options for Each Email
Invitation Email
You can customise the subject, preview text, body copy, and add a header image. Pre-set variables let you include personalised details, like the influencer’s name, your brand, and a registration button. The button’s copy and colour can be tailored in the styles menu.
Application Received Email
Edit the subject, preview text, and body. You can also upload a custom header image. The email informs the applicant that their registration has been received and is under review.
Application Approved Email
Customise the text and add an image. The email provides a link to the influencer dashboard, where influencers can access their unique referral code.
Application Rejected Email
Edit the wording to reflect your brand’s tone. Optionally, include a message encouraging the influencer to reapply in the future. A header image can be added.
Login Link Email
Customise the email and add a relevant image. This email includes a secure sign-in button, giving influencers easy access to their dashboard without requiring a password.
Saving and Applying Your Changes
Once you save your edits to any email, the changes are applied immediately. All future emails will use your latest version automatically.
