This article explains how to add and configure the Share Product widget on your product pages, allowing users to easily recommend products to each other.
Introduction
This is a theme app extension that adds a widget you can use on product pages to add a simple share button. Users can recommend products to each other by clicking the share button. When clicked, the button copies the product link to the user's clipboard, notifies them, and opens the native share screen on mobile devices.
Integration instructions
Go to the Theme Page and click on Edit Theme.

Example of selecting a Product template. You may need to select multiple Product templates. Select a space where you want to add the widget.
Choose a location in your template for the Share Product widget. Go to Apps in the menu and select the Share Product widget.
Select the Share Product widget in the Apps menu. Configure any options on the right-hand sidebar if needed.

Options
- Product: This is the current product on the page. It should be autofilled, so you usually don’t need to make changes.
- Show text: Decide whether to show just the icon or include text as well.
- Colour: Set the colour of the text and icon.
- Font size: Set the size of the text.
