About the integration

Integrating with Runa allows you to choose from a selection of standard gift cards or create your own, which will then be passed to the Mention Me platform.

If you’d like to set up bulk gift card rewards for your refer-a-friend programme, please speak to your Mention Me contact and a Runa representative.

To proceed with the integration, you need to:

Create Runa API Keys and save them within the Mention Me Platform
Provide the Voucher Product Codes to Mention Me (either as a Payout Link Template ID or a Single Product Code)
Optionally provide a User Redemption Template if required

Step 1. Create API Key in Runa

1. Login to Runa with an account that has permissions to create API Keys.

2. Navigate to API → Create API Key. Learn more about creating your API key here

3. Select Production Key

4. Enter a name for the key (e.g. Mention_Me) and press Create Key

5. Save the credentials immediately — you’ll only see them once!

Step 2. Save Runa API Key in Mention Me

1. Go to the Mention Me platform and click Set-up new 3rd Party Provider. Select Runa from the list of providers.

2. Enter a name and paste the API Key obtained in Step 1. Click Create.

Step 3. Share Runa Product Codes being used

Based on your campaign setup, you can opt to use either a single product order (e.g. for a specific retailer) or a payout link (customer selects from a group of vouchers).

Email these codes to Mention Me Support, your Client Success Manager or Onboarding Project Manager. They will configure the reward settings for you.

Identify and copy the product code of the specific voucher to be issued, then send to Mention Me

Create a payout template by following these instructions
Copy the Template ID (begins with PT) and send it to Mention Me

Step 4. Share Runa User Redemption Template ID (Optional)

If using a custom redemption page, follow these steps to create it
Copy the Template ID (starts with DT) and share with Mention Me

Send this code to Mention Me Support, your Client Success Manager or Onboarding Project Manager so they can configure your reward accordingly.
