Integrating with Giftcloud means you can choose from a selection of standard gift cards or create your own that will be passed to the Mention Me platform.
If you’d like to set up buying bulk gift cards for your refer-a-friend programme, please talk to your Mention Me contact and a Giftcloud representative.
If you proceed to work with Giftcloud, you’ll need to discuss the following with your Mention Me onboarding project manager, client success manager or the Support team:
- Which Giftcloud gift cards to use
- Gift card denominations (e.g. £50)
- Validation period (how long between a customer signing up and receiving the gift card)
- Customer rewards in each territory (if supporting multiple locales)
Once the contract with Giftcloud has been signed, you will need to create the connection between the Mention Me platform and Giftcloud.
Your Giftcloud credentials will be securely shared with you by a member of the Giftcloud support team once your campaign has been created and everything has been confirmed to be able to go live.
Step 1. Save Giftcloud Credentials in Mention Me
- On the Mention Me platform, Click Set-up new 3rd Party Provider and select Giftcloud from the list of Providers

Enter a Name, Username & Password and click Create
- You may need to repeat steps 1 & 2 if you are supporting multiple locales with GiftCloud, e.g., English, French and German then, you will need a separate set of credentials for each Giftcloud locale. They should provide these to you, but it's worth checking.
Step 2. Provide Mention Me with your Giftcloud Campaign ID
Finally, you'll need to provide your Mention Me onboarding project manager, client success manager or the Support team with the Giftcloud Campaign ID so the reward setup can be completed. Please be aware that you may need to provide multiple Campaign IDs if you are supporting different locales/ values of your rewards.
