Mention Me supports the concept of reactivation - allowing customers who have long been dormant to be re-referred.
For example, consider a customer who made several purchases 5 years ago, but hasn't purchased since. It's been several years since they last purchased.
Without reactivation, we'll never let this customer claim a referral reward. They are an existing customer and they are not allowed to be referred.
With reactivation, because this customer hasn't purchased in years we can consider them equivalent to a new customer. They can be referred again by their friends.
This can be a powerful tool for welcoming long-dormant customers back.
By default, we consider a reactivation a purchase by someone who hasn't purchased in 12 months.
You can change the setting by requesting it to our support team, and we support month by month granularity (e.g. 12 months, 18 months, 36 months) - including disabling reactivation.
