You can upload new vouchers from two places within the Mention Me platform: via the Content page or the Campaigns page. This guide helps you add a new set of reward codes for use in ongoing or planned experiments, whether in response to low stock, expiry, or a new campaign setup.
Only users with Marketing or Administrator access can upload new codes.
Steps to Access the Upload Module
Option 1: Uploading via the Campaigns Page
1. Go to the Campaigns section on the platform.
2. The overview displays voucher health per campaign and highlights which ones need updates.
3. Click + Add vouchers → Find your reward → Click Upload a new batch.
Option 2: Upload via the Experiment page
1. Click Campaigns.
2. Select the name of the referral that requires new vouchers.
3. Choose the relevant reward e.g. Referrer gets 20% off when they spend over £100.
4. Click Add vouchers.
5. Click Upload a new batch.
Steps to Upload Your New Vouchers
1. Click Add vouchers → Upload a new batch
2. Configure the following settings:
- Code Validity: Start and end date for redemption
- Code Usage: Single-use or multi-use
- Case Sensitivity: Enforce uppercase/lowercase on redemption
- File Naming: Make it clear and relevant
Code validity only determines the distribution window, not the offer duration. Match your CRM expiry settings for best results. Codes should ideally be valid for one year or more. Read more here.
Recommended setup:
- Codes valid for at least 1 year
- Single-use codes only
- Codes should be non-stackable
- Codes set to target referrer vs referee use cases
Ensure these settings align with your CRM system—changes in Mention Me don’t affect external platforms.
3. Review your setup
4. Drag and drop your file or use the file selector
5. Ensure your file contains a Reward Code column header. Use the sample CSV if needed
6. Complete test mapping to confirm upload format
7. Click Upload. A message will confirm the number of codes accepted
8. Upload progress will be displayed with a success/failure message per code
9. Choose to upload another file or finish the process
