If your reward vouchers are set to expire soon or have already reached their expiry date within the Mention Me platform, you can extend their validity to ensure rewards continue to be issued without disruption. This is essential to keep your referral campaigns running smoothly and avoid negatively impacting the customer experience.
This guide will walk you through how to:
- Identify which campaigns or rewards have vouchers that are expiring or have expired
- Navigate directly from the Campaigns tab to the affected reward
- Manage your existing voucher batches
- Adjust the validity period of a voucher batch using a simple date selector
By following these steps, you’ll be able to extend the life of your existing voucher batches, maintain a seamless referral journey, and ensure your customers continue to receive the incentives they’ve earned.
Only users with Marketing or Administrator access can extend voucher validity.
Why extend validity?
If your vouchers are flagged as ‘expiring soon’ but you want to continue using the current codes, you can simply update the expiration date rather than uploading new ones.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Log in to the Mention Me platform and navigate to Campaigns.

2. You’ll see an overview of voucher health across all campaigns. Any campaigns that need voucher updates will be clearly indicated.

3. Select the relevant campaign.

4. Locate the experiment (it may be under Current, Draft, or Previous).
5. Click the name of the experiment to open the overview page.

6. Look for a voucher-related notice beneath the offer preview (e.g. “Referrer reward needs coupons which are valid between…”).

7. You’ll be redirected to the Content → Rewards view, filtered to the specific reward that needs updating.
8. Click Manage on the reward.

9. This opens the Reward Details page, showing the history of uploads and existing assigned batches.
10. Scroll down to the Batches of Vouchers section:
- Each row = one uploaded batch
- Click the Batch ID to view individual voucher codes
- To manage a batch, click the 3-dot menu at the end of the row
11. From the 3-dot menu, select Adjust Validity

12. A calendar will appear
- Choose the new expiration date for vouchers in that batch
13. Click Adjust Validity to save your change.

That’s it! Your voucher batch is now updated with the new expiration date and will continue to be used.
