If your reward vouchers are nearing expiration or have already expired within the Mention Me platform, you can easily extend their validity to ensure your customers can continue to receive and redeem them. This helps maintain a seamless referral journey and uninterrupted fulfilment.
This guide will show you how to:
- Identify which experiments and rewards are affected
- Navigate directly to the relevant reward from the email notification
- Manage existing voucher batches and view upload history
- Extend the usage period by adjusting the expiration date
- Understand voucher status alerts: Critical, Run Out, Expiring, Expired
By following these steps, you’ll avoid fulfilment errors and keep your campaigns running smoothly.
Only users with Marketing or Administrator access can extend voucher validity.
Step 1: Review the Reward Email Notification
- The email highlights experiments needing attention and shows:
- Which reward is impacted
- The current status (e.g. Critical, Run Out, Expiring, Expired)
Voucher Status Definitions
- Critical: Stock is very low; immediate action required
- Run Out: No vouchers remain; rewards can’t be issued
- Expiring: Vouchers are close to end of customer-valid usage
- Expired: Vouchers can no longer be issued
Step 2: Access the Affected Reward(s)
Use the Add Vouchers Now buttons from within the email:
- Top or bottom buttons: Takes you to Content → Rewards with a filtered view of all good/expiring rewards
- Button under each reward: Directly navigates to the specific reward (recommended for quicker updates)
Step 3: Open the Reward
- Click Manage next to the affected reward inside the Mention Me platform
- This opens the Reward Detail page, showing voucher batches and upload actions
Step 4: View Voucher Batches
Scroll to the “Batches of Vouchers” section:
- Each row shows an uploaded batch
- Click the Batch ID to view individual voucher codes
- Click the 3-dot menu to manage a batch
Step 5: Adjust Voucher Validity
- In the 3-dot menu, choose Adjust Validity
- A calendar will appear – choose the new expiration date
- Click Adjust Validity to save
Your validity changes are saved, and vouchers will re-enter circulation with the new expiration date.
