Uploading your first batch of vouchers is a key step in getting your referral programme live. This guide is designed for first-time users uploading voucher codes during the Mention Me onboarding process.

- Upload your first batch of voucher codes
- Share a single voucher batch across multiple rewards
Only users with Marketing or Administrator access can upload vouchers.
Please ensure vouchers are uploaded to the MM Live platform.
Understanding How Vouchers Work in Mention Me
Mention Me referral programmes reward both the Referrer and Referee with incentives such as discounts, free shipping, or gift cards.
Reward Types:
- Referrer Reward: Given when a customer successfully refers a friend.
- Referee Reward: Offered to encourage the referred friend to make their first purchase.
Every referral offer includes both reward types. To fulfil rewards, voucher codes aligned with the offer must be uploaded.
Uploading Your Vouchers
- Navigate to the Content -> Rewards section and click Add vouchers on the reward you'd like to add vouchers to.
- Select Upload a new batch
- Use the wizard to configure:
- Code Validity: Start and (optional) end date
- Code Usage: Single-use or multi-use
- Case Sensitivity
- File Naming
Ensure your code validity aligns with your CRM or loyalty system. Ideally, set expiry to at least 1 year from upload. Read more here.
Recommended Settings:
- Valid for ≥1 year
- Single-use vouchers
- Non-stackable
- Referrer and Referee get separate rewards unless sharing
Ensure Mention Me settings match your CRM. Changes made here don’t update external CRM systems.
- Upload a properly formatted CSV (must have a Reward Code header)
- Confirm mapping success and test reward linkage
- Click Upload; confirm if warning appears
- Review progress; platform will show if upload was successful
- Repeat process or upload more files as needed
Sharing Voucher Batches Between Rewards
This only works when batch values match exactly between rewards.
- Click the Add vouchers option under a second reward
- Select Select from uploaded
- Tick the batch(es) you'd like to assign, then click Assign reward codes
Repeat this step for any other rewards using the same voucher batch.
