This guide is designed to provide instructions for you to provide Klaviyo API credentials if you have requested to enable the checking of customers' opt-in status before showing a newsletter sign-up overlay
This guide does not deal with the setup of the full Klaviyo integration. This can be done by following these instructions.
Prerequisites

Klaviyo - You would need to have the ability to create private API Keys to use for the setup of the Mention Me integration

Mention Me - You will need access to the Mention Me platform (If you do not have access, reach out to your Mention Me CSM or request support here).
Step 1 – Provide Klaviyo Private API Key
1. Log in to Klaviyo
2. Click Your Brand Name > Settings > Account -> API Keys
3. Create a Private API Key with Read-Only Permissions
If you have multiple Klaviyo Accounts, please create a Private API Key for each account
4. Download the credentials (so you can upload them to Mention Me)
Step 2 – Send the API key securely to Mention Me
1. Login to the Mention Me platform
2. Navigate to the Secure file transfer option under the Settings & Tools tab
3. Click Upload secure file, then upload the file containing your API key to the secure are
4. Email your Mention Me Client Success Manager to let them know you’ve uploaded this information.
