Promoting the referral offer
Typically, we look to widen promotion 6 weeks from going live. This allows time to drive volume through your referral channel and to start running experiments that optimise performance.
Once we’ve done some optimisation work, we’ll look at widening promotion so that we can put the referral offering in front of as many people as possible and drive volume through the referral funnel.
A Referral Dashboard in the My Account area
Do you have a ‘My Account’ area or somewhere similar behind a login on your website where we can serve the referral offer? By integrating an additional tag here, you can further promote your scheme like the example below, and let logged in customers track their referrals and send out additional invites.

Integrating an additional tag here has two main purposes:
- To show your referral offer to logged in customers who haven’t yet enrolled in your referral programme (i.e. haven’t purchased and seen the referral overlay on your post-purchase page)
- To let customers enrolled into your referral programme track the progress of their referrals and send additional referral invites to friends.
This should be a much quicker integration as there’s only one mandatory parameter that needs including in the Javascript snippet (situation=dashboard).
