You can use Europium to customise the referrer journey for your campaigns safely. This includes adjusting the appearance of text, images, buttons, and other elements.
Europium styling only applies to the referrer journey, and changes should always be made in the Referrer CSS section of your journey settings.
What is Europium?
Europium is a behind-the-scenes tool built by Mention Me to help you customise how your referrer journey looks, while keeping the structure and layout consistent. It helps you make visual changes without affecting the rest of your referral program or causing layout issues.
It allows you to:
- Inject custom CSS safely
- Maintain responsive design
- Customise components without breaking layout or flow
It’s specifically useful for clients looking to self-serve customisation without needing Mention Me engineers to make changes.
When should I use Europium?
You can use Europium if you want to:
- Change the alignment of text
- Adjust padding (space)
- Make other small layout or design tweaks on the referrer journey
How does Europium work?
When you add styling changes using Europium, they must be wrapped in a special block like this
&-europium {
/* Your styles go here */
}
Where do I put Europium styles?
All Europium styling must go inside the Referrer CSS section in the Mention Me CSS:
- Go to your Mention Me Dashboard
- Navigate to Theme > Edit CSS
- Choose Referrer CSS
- Add your styles inside the section that begins with
&-europium { ... }
What Not to Do
- Don’t use Europium in the Referee CSS, it won’t work there
- Don’t add new HTML or JavaScript. Europium is for styling only
- Don’t apply global styles outside of the
&-europiumblock
