This article guides you through editing or creating rewards for your campaign experiments in Mention Me. By the end, you'll know how to update rewards for both new and existing A/B tests or single experiences.
Steps to Edit or Create Rewards in a Campaign
1. Click Campaigns.
2. Select the name of the campaign you wish to edit. This can be a current or draft campaign.
3. Click Drafts, Upcoming & History.
4. Click Experiment actions (three dots).
5. Choose either Duplicate (to draft) to copy the current experiment, or Create new A/B test using one of the existing variations.
6. Click Manage test.
7. Click Full preview.
8. Click Design and settings.
9. Click Rewards.
10. Select an existing reward from the dropdown, or create a new reward for your new experience.
In the reward setup UI, you can set default information such as:
- The reward type (percentage discount, money off, or free item)
- The discount value
- Minimum spend amount (if required) and the value
- Reward validity period (defaults to your main account settings)
11. Choose how the reward will be fulfilled (e.g. discount code, discount link, or Shopify).
- There are other already predetermined options which do not need to be adjusted
12. Repeat these steps as needed for both Referrer and Referee rewards, or only for one as appropriate.
13. Click Update and close.
Using the A/B Testing Wizard
You can also use the new A/B testing wizard to set up tests comparing reward types, such as money off vs. percentage discount, or to reduce the reward value.
1. After selecting a test, click Select rewards and follow the reward setup UI.
Creating a New Reward in a Single Experience
1. Duplicate the current experiment using Experiment actions → Convert to single variant → choose variation A (control) or B.
2. Click View and edit.
3. Click Design and settings.
4. Click Rewards and follow the reward setup UI.
Creating a Brand New Single Experience
1. Click Create new at the bottom, then select Single experience.
2. This gives you full freedom to customise the new experiment from scratch.
3. Click View and edit.
4. Click Design and settings.
5. Click Rewards and follow the reward setup UI.
